Summary: The interactive Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus course is designed to educate common people regarding type 2 diabetes. This Storyline course not only instructs learner about the symptoms, complications, management, and treatment of type 2 diabetes but also, helps to assess their own risk for developing the disease.

Challenge: Nowadays, because of busy lives health is often neglected. Often people get diagnosed with type 2 diabetes only when they develop diabetes-related complications, often when it’s too late. This is because of the limited awareness regarding the disease. If one could diagnose diabetes at an early/ prediabetes stage or know the risk factors that can cause this disease, it is highly likely to prevent type 2 diabetes and its complications.

Solution: In this course, the learner understands the symptoms and risk factors causing type 2 diabetes so that they become aware of it and help themself to prevent or even reverse diabetes. Also, he/she can assess his risk profile of getting type 2 diabetes.

Result: By taking the course, there is an increase in the understanding of type 2 diabetes and proper knowledge of its prevention, treatment, and management. The knowledge provided in the course eventually helps learners deal with the disease efficiently.
